Skiing in Riksgränsen
The ski field at Riksgränsen cannot boast a commanding vertical drop, but Riksgränsfjället offers impressive off piste skiing. All the skiing is above the tree line and you can ski in any direction, which means that you can usually find good snow – and we’re talking about natural snow. Every day, many skiers “hike” for 20 minutes up to the top of Nordalsfjället to explore the slopes that each year attract the international freeski elite to the Nordic Championships in extreme skiing.
